Music Sunday, June 11  The adult choir will perform Felix Mendelssohn’s beautiful cantata, “Hear My Prayer”.  The cantata is in three sections and features a soprano soloist and significant choral parts throughout the composition.  The musical text by William Bartholomew, is a paraphrased version of Psalm 55: 1–7. Jean Danton, acclaimed soloist throughout the United States and Europe, will be our guest soprano soloist for the performance. Our Chime Choir will also present hymn arrangements composed by our Music Director, David Brandes.

Youth Sunday -Will be celebrated on Sunday, June 18.  This is a service when our church young people are given special recognition and play a major role in the morning worship service.  Our Youth choir will be singing the song "Love One Another" composed by Mr. Brandes, our Organist and Choir Director. The prelude and postlude music are also provided by our young people.  Any reasonably talented young musician who would like to play for the service is asked to contact Mr. Brandes, or Megan Grassi, one of our Church School Directors.

On June 25, the first Sunday of our summer 9:30 am service schedule, a young gifted child pianist, Charlie Molten, will be performing our offertory and postlude.  This is an opportunity to hear one of the United States' outstanding young musicians.  Charlie would be a particular inspiration to all of our church young people.
